Commercial & Industrial Electrical Repair

Downtime is the real cost of a commercial fault, so the priority is getting production or the sales floor back first and doing the permanent fix on a schedule that suits you. We work on three-phase and single-phase gear, motor circuits, panels, disconnects and the branch wiring in between. For most Quad Cities calls we are on site in under an hour, and the phone is answered around the clock.

What we get called for

  • A motor that hums and will not start, or that trips its overloads on startup
  • Tripped mains and panels that will not reset
  • Failed disconnects, contactors and starters on production equipment
  • Burned lugs and heat damage found on a thermal scan or by smell
  • Circuits added over the years until a panel is beyond what it is rated for
  • Refrigeration, compressor and pump circuits dropping out intermittently

Temporary power first, then the real repair

When a fault stops work, the first move is often a safe temporary arrangement: a feed rerouted, a spare circuit pressed into service, equipment moved onto another panel. That gets you running the same day. The permanent repair is then scheduled for a night, a weekend or a shutdown window, where it costs nothing in production.

After hours and weekends

Most of the commercial work we do outside business hours is by choice rather than by emergency, because that is when a panel can actually be shut down. Tell us your quiet window and we will work it. Genuine emergencies are answered any hour, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can you reach a commercial breakdown?

For most calls in the Quad Cities we are on site in under an hour. Tell whoever answers what has stopped and what it feeds, and we bring the right parts the first time.

Can you work outside our business hours?

Yes, and for anything that needs a panel de-energized we usually prefer to. Nights, weekends and shutdown windows are normal scheduling for us.

Do you service equipment as well as building wiring?

We work on the electrical side of machinery: feeds, disconnects, starters, controls and motor circuits. Mechanical repair inside the machine stays with your equipment supplier.

Our panel is an obsolete brand. Can it still be repaired?

Sometimes, with used or aftermarket parts we would not rely on long term. We will tell you honestly when a panel has reached the point where replacing it is the safer path.

Who carries the risk if a repair fails?

We are licensed, bonded and insured in both Iowa and Illinois, and our workmanship carries a lifetime warranty. That applies to commercial jobs exactly as it does to homes.
